Fast and economical mounting
For the exact positioning of the bearing, the only procedure required is to move the screw drive nut to both positions.
During the positioning process, the position of the screw drive serves as the reference. The bearing mounting screws are first hand-tightened.
This mounting procedure aligns the spindle and the bearing in the optimum position.
Next, the bearing retention screws are tightened using the specified torque. Tests have demonstrated that the retention forces of the screw connection are sufficient to transmit the radial forces that occur under real-life conditions (such as belt-pull).
Since this type of mounting prevents constraining forces, the radial loads on the bearing and screw drive are reduced. This contributes to an increased service life of the entire screw drive.
